Sindhurakshak likely to be moved out of water in 4 months
PTI Jan 21, 2014, 09.18PM ISTNEW DELHI: More than six months after its submarinesank in the Mumbai harbour, the Navy today said it was close to finalise a contract to salvage the vessel which was expected to be moved out of water in another four months.
The sinking of the vessel has also resulted in the Navy to seek upgrades and life enhancement of its four Kilo class Russian and two German HDW class submarines, Navy sources said here.

El ministerio de defensa Indio anuncia que en 4 meses el submarino INS Sindhurakshak será sacado del fondo del puerto de Mumbai. La empresa encargada tardará 45 días en trasladar los equipos hasta la zona y unos 3 meses más en sacar el submarino del agua y colocarlo en un dique seco...

The foreign vendor has sought 45 days to bring his heavy instruments to the accident site and another three months for salvaging the vessel and putting it in a dry-dock, they said.
